Hydrogen peroxide is one of the most stable and ubiquitous of the reactive oxygen species (ROS), making it ideal for testing the presence of ROS. Cell Biolabs' OxiSelect™ Hydrogen Peroxide/Peroxidase Assay Kit is a sensitive colorimetric assay for the quantitation of hydrogen peroxide or peroxidase. The H2O2 or peroxidase content in unknowns is compared with a standard curve in a standard 96-well colorimetric plate reader. The kit can measure hydrogen peroxide levels as low as 0.8 µM, or peroxidase levels as low as 0.16 mU/mL. Each kit provides sufficient reagents for 500 assays including standards and unknown samples.
